Is a Manbo bar noisy when positioned far forward?
I am swithering over Manbo bars vs. Front Runner rack and have heard that the Manbo bars are noisy when positioned far forward (post on here). I may fit a fox wing awning next year and the bars are a bit friendlier on the pocket but I don't want a racket from the bars. Any thoughts?

my mate was screwing when he fitted his bars. the front he took it off and filled the cavity with builders expanding foam (just see the yellow underneath).

i'm going to be in the same prediciment as i'm going to add another bar at the front, and fit a 1.4m awning over the front/rear nearside doors. taking purchase from other Manbo's supporting the tent.

i'm thinging about fabbing some metal sheet to enclose the void.

shonky photo...

TrekOverland had a 1.4 awning fitted over the two doors, to a 110 at Billing.
doing this will allow me to have the awning out and also the ladder deployed... Thumbs Up
