Air con retro fit
Is it possible /how easy would it be to retro fit air con in a td5 without the extra blowers, ie on the original vents. I fancy air con but don't like the ingress of the extra vents down by your nees on the XS s with air con.

As far as I know its not really possible on the
later dash TD5 as the older unit that used to take up the dash tray won't fit and work with the switches in the middle of the dash. Anything is possible but will mean a lot of work and will cost a lot of money.

Pete.

Air con works like the heater matrix but in reverse, if you could get the cooler matrix into the air path between the wing top inlet and the heater box then in theory you could yes, would be serious diy though Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
