Removing rear seats in a 90 Puma CSW.
Hi guys, can anyone talk me through taking out the back folding forward facing seats please. Any pitfalls to be aware of? Do I need to remove the wheel arch liner to get to bolts?
Thanks. JP

Hi JP

Very easy.

Each seat have the two black plastic covers to remove and 12 torx bolts to losen and the two nuts under the car in the wheel arches. That is it.

Remember to replace all the torx bolts and to plug the four bolt holes otherwize you will have alot of extra leaks......

The nuts under the wheel arch will be rusted on, use plenty of plus gas or similar beforehand

So I have just taken delivery of some sound proofing and am looking to remove my rear seats.

I just went outside (before reading this thread) and just started undoing all the bolts. I didn't spot any nuts underneath, is there a thread in the metal work?

Anyhow, I now find myself with one bolt left hafl way in - edges burred and I can't get it out any further Sad That said, even with all but one bolt removed (one of the ones holding the bottom leg), the seat itself is not budging.

It's almost like the plates are not only bolted in, but also stuck down - is that the case?

Thanks in advance.

OK, my fault - hadn't spotted the nuts underneath as well!

So one last question - what's the best/easiest way to remove a burred bolt that's half out?

Thanks!
