All the bits have arrived ready... just need the 110 to arrive now!

Hope there's a lot of empty space behind the dash somewhere!!

For that little lot I would say approximately 600 - 1000
Over all good value for what you get. There is nothing really in it between 1DIN and 2DIN with price vs features. They do however need to integrate DAB into these though IMO. I would imagine a new version of this is due soon as this model has been available for a little while.

Steve, do you now if the "pop out screen " is quite robust on this one ? if not is there any that you would recommend as this is the system i would like but just not sure if it will be ok after bouncing about after several hundred miles so to speak. Cogito ergo sum

Yes, it will be fine it's practically the same unit as mine except for a few minor features / differences. Believe me it is not fragile and won't come to no harm. I have done many a greenlane with mine out with no problem at all. Just don't go speeding over speedbumps or anything like that. Then again who would. About all you'll get from it maybe a bit of slight vibration which is inevitable really. And once set up you will have it so that the screen is actually as close to the dash as possible keeping it from sticking out further exaggerating any movement.
I myself keep mine with the screen in when not in use anyway out of harms way and out of view. It's only a touch of a button for to get it out or even can be set to open on ignition and shut automatically. It's so easy it can even be done whilst driving without any kind of distraction at all. Much like any simple HU. No fiddly buttons either as once the screen is out everything is by touch. Or indeed by remote control if passengers are in the back in a 110 for example.
Phew a lot to type. Laughing Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

E-bay: Here.
Or a little more expensive but I've use this company before:
ICM KVT-526
They are extremely quick to send orders out via UPS usually next day & also perhaps if you ask nicely may give you a discount. They did me before and they are where my Sub and Amp and so on came from.C heapest price in the UK I found and did me a deal or two. So maybe worth asking. If you do although they don't know me I would be grateful if you could mention my name at least for recommending them.

I got the main unit from Car Sounds & Security in Epsom:
http://www.carsoundsandsecurity.co.uk/store/kvt-526dvd/
(Don't buy it from Halfords @ 650!!)

The rest from Amazon which was pretty much the cheapest I could find...[/url]

There aren't any pop-out screen HUs in the new Kenwood catalogue - only single & double DIN now... So I guess when stock runs out, that's it!

I'd imagine there is another in the pipeline for that very reason. It is due. Double DIN can't be the only option as it still doesn't suit all cars. Thumbs Up Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
