What gearbox has you truck got as the gearstick is further back than normal - is it a discovery one?

Yes it is!! The original gearbox gave in during the warranty period and at short notice they could only fit a discovery gearbox which the seller agreed on, I actually used this fact to get a good discount on it as cars in Italy must not have mechanical modifications. Little did I know this type of gearbox is better for how I use it! 1995 300TDI CSW 90
