Double cab models
What is the difference between a double cab & a double cab chassis cab? £2130 on the 13MY price list. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Do you mean other than the fact that the chassis cab doesn't have a rear tub? If not, then that is the difference. The chassis cab simply has the exposed chassis rails at the rear, ready to go to a bodybuilders or to have a Quadtech-type box put on. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

At a logical guess,

Dbl Cab has a conventional rear body
Dbl Cab chassis cab cab rear goes straight down to the chassis, for you to supply your own rear body such as Quadratech.

This seems the logical explanation but maybe I'm wrong.

Ah right! I saw a 130 with 90 hardtop as far as it reached, complete with safari door, & a tub at the rear end of the chassis. Looked practical but odd. Tub may have been non-LR. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own.
