Strangest thing
...happened to me today!

I turned on the key, waited that all the usual lights lights went out, turned the engine on...and after two/three seconds the engine turned off and immediatly turned on by itself! Shocked the lights even came on and off when the engine was running again!! It was scary to say the least!

Anybody has any explanation for this?

Could this be an early symptom for troubles to come? Regards
Joao

Check the following relays which are related to the starting circuit....

R100 and R102

Also at the Battery Junction Box.....

Link 5 rated at 60 amps
Fuse 5 rated at 30 amps

Just a couple of pointers for you. In the absence of a multimeter or electrical savvy just check for security of attachment. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Are those relays under the passenger (for me as I'm LHD) seat?

And what or where is " Battery Junction Box"?

Thank you both... Regards
