Fitted my NAS today...
...and I think it looks rather nice. Had to turn the bottom bolt of the Mantec upside down to get the clearance but no great shakes. Just need to get the proper electrics back plate with the holes spaced correctly.

The rear step and tow-bar (genuine LR) are available for sale - PM me for pictures.

..and gave it a clean Smile

Sorry, it's my Autistic streak!

That's not a NAS step..a NAS step looks like this (but isn't this one either):

with a 2" receiver

Superspoons....I've got one to fit to my 90.
There are some chunky support stays which secure the bottom to the chassis.
I can't see this on yours?

Clemmo,

They are on - you can just (and I mean just) make one of them out in the first pic. Dirty great things they are. I wouldn't dare tow without them Shocked Cheers,

Yes, almost every aftermarket manufacturer has it wrong. Paddocks, Terrafirma, Scrapiron, etc

LRSeries has it right

http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listi...amp;page=1

One of those things that is so prolific that unless someone points out that it is wrong it will be lost in history Thumbs Up

I would Describe the type you have as Tomb Raider or 50th Anniversary Step as that's where they were used in the earliest incarnation.

Can anyone with a rear step bumper fitted help me out?

This anti-crush tube is fitted into the end of the rear cross member:

In checking mine out, I have notice that both parts are loose and actually rattle. I was expecting them to be quite tight after the bolts are fitted and tightened to the correct torque. It may be just normal LR tolerances but could others check theirs and see if mine is usual or not.

Thanks.

Mine are tight. Maybe tighten your nuts and bolts a bit more? "Overlanding With Bruce" - Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@OverlandingwithBruce
