Took my daughter to a Scout Jamboree camp and, on the way back, managed to take a quick snap on the access track:

Nothing other than drive to Classic JLR just outside Rugby/.Coventry thanks to the Series 2 LR Club Thumbs Up

A few V8 conversions under way, interesting to see a 2015 Defender stripped back to its chassis and then slowly (in about a week lol) being rebuilt into something very nice but very expensive Big Cry 2010 XS USW

Parked here today, after beating.

Nice to see they've dug and prepared the flower beds, ready for the 11th.

Replaced the clutch master cylinder as the seals had gone. As with all things Land Rover related it took 3 times longer than planned, coming apart a lot quicker than it went back together again!!

United Kingdom 1995 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Epsom Green
Yesterday I treated the old girl to a CTek battery charger as she isn't getting driven as much as she was and the battery has been suffering a bit from slightly extended lay ups.

Today after filling the back with firewood and chainsaws (not necessarily in that order) I mounted the CTek inside the front door and then made the connection cable to outdoors through the wall. Now she is all good with her batteries being looked after. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.

Dark nights and bad weather so changed my wipers, I've never had these bosh blade ones since owning the truck.

So far wow, worth changing for sure.

Dropped the 110 in for a set of new steel wheels, picked up a new Disco Sport as a courtesy car. For a Freelander it’s quite nice. Whistle

A village called Great Bardfield in North Essex.

Where I was born. The memorial garden was larger with more rose beds and surrounded by iron railings when I was young.

As the affluent Londoners have moved in and pushed up house prices, conversely the Parish Council seems to have less and less money available to spend on it.

So fewer flower beds, and "York" stone replaced the railings which kept the urinators from the adjacent pub off it.

It never needed a litter bin either.

(Maybe I should have put this on the "grumpy" thread....... Sad )

My drivers door top rubber seal was sagging a bit. A few dots of black tack solved it perfectly. These black tack strips are amazing stuff. I bought a meter on eBay now at least 5 or 6 years ago, and today it still is as good as then. Cutting a few small strips, remove the protective tape, roll small balls between your fingers and stick the seal back up. Better than new. Thumbs Up
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

So, I went out with my wife and pooch today, had a lovely mooch about, and when we were leaving to go home, I saw this cracker hiding in the corner.

I had to swing around and grab a picture.

This was yesterday... Picked up the SVX from LEU Carrosserie & Spritzwerke AG in Biel-Benken near Basel and drove the 250 km back home. Dinitrol update done there (3rd application), piece of mind for another three winters. Thumbs Up
