Now and again I see something that really 'stirs the soul' and having watched the 911 video with Magnus Walkers 911 collection in that a forum member kindly put up , I've got the bug.
I like to research, read, look at pictures, buy the magazine, attend the shows first so point me in the right direction please. I 'think' I want a widebody, I'm not fussed about speed so don't need a turbo, really like the Fusch alloys, not overly fussed about originality, love the 'duck' style spoiler and the thinner style front bumpers, what am I looking for ? |

That would be a sensible era, to go for (but you won't get your slim bumpers)

OK, I can live with that
Which engine, spec etc is a 'safe' bet ? As I said speed is at the bottom of my list of priorities. As they say, you have to own a 911 at least once in your life |

I quite fancied something similar for a while, an older wide bodied 993. As ever with me, seem to have missed the boat and prices have rocketed recently! Just like the 355 that I also looked at

Ive been trawling 993/964/996/997 for the past 2 weeks. It all depends on your budget. As well as Magnus Walker, check the Singer Video...
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=26965 My outcome... 993 too expensive, 964 too slow, 996 scary depreciation... 997 is for me I think. |

I dare say that 964 is beyond my budget anyway, stuff in the pipeline, I'll hopefully have news soon

Apologies Matt! It was me who posted the Magnus Walker video. I'm guessing this ruins my chances of winning the big FCX giveaway! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green
