New Defender 90.....Placing/Location of dash switches?
Just in the process of ordering a new "90".
We have a few options including Cold Climate Pack, driving Lights etc. I was just wondering is there any specific location/function for the various switch locations provided, or are the switches not in any particular location, ie..where would the driving light switch be located?...I've heard..on the far RHS?
Any pics of your factory switch locations?
Cheers, Pickles.

The switches all fit in specific places and cannot be changed without shaving off the locating tabs.

Below is an XS spec dash - there is one blank which could be used for DRLs or whatever (one with the heated seat switch in the top row - I've used this as a decoy for something else

Cold climate pack - sounds grandiose - what do you get in it?

Okay to answer your questions then:

1) Light switch is on a stalk on steering column

2) heated seat switches - bottom row in pic on either side of Aircon switch

3) Heated windscreen - top row in pic (left of hazard lights switch which is below the clock)

Don't believe there are factory options to change the location of switches (but I guess there is nothing to really stop you moving them around yourself though I'm not sure why you would want to do that.

So, there will be room for the Driving Light switch?
Cheers, Pickles.
