Decent Shower
Has anyone any experience with these shower units? I have tried the earlier Zodi unit without much faffing or success.

What about suggestions for a decent shower enclosure - at the moment we are using the side awning on the 90 but i would like something free standing so i can get back from kyaking and get a hot shower quick!

i use one of these

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kampa-Geyser-Camps...77-6201802

quite ££ but works a treat, bought it with a standalone upright toilet/wash tent (£40 from gooutdoors)

we normally stick it on a trailer and then shower post a days competing, works bloody well, too hot to stand under, quite good on water consumption, plugs into cig socket and just needs water supply and gas. Cheers

I have one of these in my trailer.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6L-GAS-LPG-PROPA...amp;_uhb=1

It works very well, if not a little to well sometimes, we have it hooked up to a sureflow pump and a 75l tank great for washing the pots and taking a shower.

Great set up Jason. With the flue deflector thing. Yes that seems the way to go. A winter project for the trailer.

The shower is just on a couple of sliders so just pulls out to vent to the outside if we are using it for longer periods of time, I am not sure if we needed the heat deflector but as it is above the tent felt it prudent, also it means we can jire it up when it is in the trailer without a problem.

I see you live in Bucks you are welcome to pop over and take a look, we live just outside Henley On Thames.

That would be great. I shall try to pm you my details.
We have just got a secondhand globemaster which I am spending the winter fitting out and would be keen to see some of your ideas.

I have nothing as posh as a Globemaster, mine is a self made trailer on a Sankey MK111 Chassis, which has been adapted over the last couple of years of use to improve my mistakes and improve things for us, but you are welcome to take a look.

I have an eccotemp - and I am told by the distributor that mine was the first in the UK! I have a mount for it (with shower curtain for the mrs) on my sankey trailer with battery, water pump and jerricans of water in the trailer.

I use one of this in my folding camper.
Very good, but fixed. You need also the pump.
