Chile 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Chawton White
Rear fenders
Yesterday driving in the highway I almost got a heart attack Mad

At about 60 mph a stone came out from the rear tire and hit the naked non-isolated upper panel of the fender. Jes!!!! you can imagine the bl#~$dy noise inside the cabin. I though a window blew up or whatever.

I had this issue before but with smaller projectiles at lower speeds, but nothing like this

I need to fix this crap somehow. Puma 110" SW

I love it, especially when i have passengers. I play dumb and suggest that maybe someone is shooting at us! Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!

Had the same hapen to me when new, as we drove past a local "township" - swore we had been shot and drove like the blazes to escape with everyone ducked down in their seats until later when we found no bullet holes after all. Assuming it was a stone in the BFG muds. Embarassed Puma 110 - gone

I lined the inside of the fenders with industrial rubber , does not solve the problem but it dims.
But the fears are still there. Vale

The "gunshot" effect is even funnier when you have a large, uncoordinated dog in the rear. 2007 Defender 110

I'd wondered if there is a way to fit (obviously with some mods) front wheel well liners, to the rear wheel wells.

Has anybody tried this?
