Thrust Bearing or ? ...tickover rattle on Puma
On tickover I hear a rattle from front gearbox area.
Rises with revs
Disappears when clutch depressed.

Is this the thrust bearing?
Anyone else get it?
Leave or repair?

Cheers

Had it on mine when I picked it up, I and the dealer thought it was the thrust bearing, when they removed the box they found one of the anti rattle springs on the clutch plate had broken. The dealer i brought the car from was not local, my local dealer was great in doing the warranty work with the items i found after having it a week, they even did extra work they noted too Thumbs Up
This was on an 11 plate with 8k, done 4k since and it's been fine since........... Darren

I also had the annoying rattle at tickover, turned out to be the springs in the clutch plate had lost their springiness. Replacement clutch under warranty, but I did leave it for about 6 months before taking it in without any issues bar the rattle. Thumbs Up
