Immobiliser light flashing randomly

Hi all

OK a bit of a strange one and wondered if anyone else has experienced it.

I picked up my new 110 XS mid December and within a couple of days the immobiliser light started to randomly flash as I was driving along.

It went back to the main dealer who had it for the day but couldn't get it to happen, so I picked it up and within an hour it was happening again.

Now last weekend I drove to Wales and back and it happened through the whole drive so it got me thinking.

I have the standard Alpine bluetooth stereo fitted and I hook my iPhone up to it for phone, music and Sat Nav. When the iPhone is playing music or Sat Nav running the light will flash but when these are stopped the light will stop.

So it has got me thinking that maybe the bluetooth radio is interfering with the ECU or alarm module and the shielding was not thought out when the radios were decided on.

Any electrical specialists on here that could either confirm or shoot down that the theory could be plausible and suggestions on how to shield this as I'd love yo try and get this fixed so I can take the gaffer tape of the immobiliser LED.
