Started the Provent catch can fitting today, first was to drill out some flat bar to fit to the wing support bracket and give it a bit of paint.

Next bolt it all to the provent.

Then bolt it back to the wing.

I’ve already got all the pipes together but I’ll have to fit those tomorrow if it’s dry.
Thanks for looking Thumbs Up Ray

Still haven’t got around to finishing the provent but this turned up today.

A nice new centre box. We’re taking my parents on holiday with us this year so I decided to put a silencer back on in place of the straight through pipe to make it a bit quieter for them on the 7/8 hour drive to the ferry. I’m such a good son Rolling with laughter Ray

An even better son would have done the relaxing Hull crossing so as not to punish them to a slog in a Defender Laughing

While I’m waiting for some bits arriving for the piping for the provent I’ve started fitting some bits that arrived the other day

Some more security bits!
I won’t go into detail of most of it but I got a pic of this fitted.

It took a bit of filing and fettling to get the cowl and wires to all fit in but it looks quite neat now Mr. Green
Every little helps Thumbs Up Ray

Went to put new rear pads in today as the last mot advised they were getting low, got everything ready, wheel off, start pulling pads, and the calliper is seized solid on one piston and other piston only just moves Big Cry put it back together and went for a sulk then ordered some new rear calipers Big Cry also found a crack in the brake servo, so what started as new pads and change two bit of brake pipe that had an advisory on the mot has turned into brake pipes, front brake flexis, two rear calipers, new pads all round, a new servo and fluid change Big Cry

Why do we bother with Landrover’s........... Ray
