I might have to fit them when the kids start to annoy me over the Christmas break, if it's dry. I'm sure I'll have motivation to be outside then Rolling with laughter Ray

I'd like it wired so I have to switch it on and off from the same switch each time, so if I've finished with the light at the back I have to switch it off there etc. Would it be safe and would it work like I'm thinking if I wire it up like this?

Disclaimer: wiring not my best subject Rolling with laughter

I wired mine with two switches, uno on the cubby box and the second on the rear, closer to the Left loudspeaker.

Below you can see the electrical diagram.

With the cubby box switches (ON-OFF.ON) you can select:
1. Rear lamp ON
2. Rear lamp OFF
3. Rear lamp ON with reverse

with the rear one you can switch on the lamp

and, yes, very good quality, very nice style and powerful....

is the rear speaker pod just screwed in? I have bought a pair of TD5 units. was going to double side them in for now, just so they are out of storage. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Mine are double sided taped along the top and screwed at the bottom, also with the sound deadening I have in they are quite a tight fit anyway. Ray

Started running the wires for the heated seats

Got the seat back heating pads in so stuck the canvas seat covers on that I got last month. Just the seat base heating pads to put in and the cubby box to go back.

The weatherman says it might snow next week so I thought I'd move the heated seat install on a bit today.
Time to fit the base heating pads.
First strip off the cover

Then attach heating pad

When the pad is stuck down in place refit cover. This rubber seal was a pain to re fit!

All built up and plugged in

And back in you'd never know

Heated seats are one of those things I need to install. Right after my gearbox will be fixed Laughing But I'll buy them during summer so it's cheaper Rolling with laughter Adam
