Rust Proofing Underside
Hi Guys, ive read through the sticky on the maintenance page but have some questions, so thought i would ask here.

On the underside of the car, there are engine parts, nuts and bolts with threads exposed, body parts (floor) and suspension springs, brakes and of course chassis.

Out of that lot, what should be waxoyl'd? If i paint over bolt threads, wont it be difficult to get them off next time? Also, where the car floor is visible from below, should I spray that too? I am presuming the chassis is the main place i should be spraying?

Also, how are you guys doing this spraying. are you just using spray cans or buying spray guns Question

I live in a hot climate, so rust is less of an issue, but would like to take care of it all the same !

Invite Zag over for a holiday! He could sail to you now.

I used Dinol and did EVERYTHING even some things I didn't mean to do. Compressor and a shutz gun, masked the brakes and exhaust, cavity wax inside the box sections, black wax everywhere else.

Mucky but fun.

Do a search on the net and other forums as rustproofing Land Rovers has been one of the most widely covered subjects over the years, certainly longer than some experts have been around. Steve.
