Short notice 4x4 this Saturday 19th Jan

I know this is short notice but
We will be replacing the log bridge this weekend at Boughrood Nr Hay on Wye, Mid Wales. If anyone wants to come along and help / play / take a look at the track then you are welcome. I will create a sign up as I need to see how many if any are coming. There is no charge unless you want to play all day.

We will also be trying the Ice Maiden out, just had the engine re-built.

Its a CJ7 had her for about 6 years. Got if for peanuts, it had been fully professionally restored and the guy that owned it was shagging about. His missus found out and took a baseball bat to the Jeep. I bought as a damaged non runner. Got the soft top repaired a new Distributor Cap, Rocker Cover, Carb, Radiator and a way to go.
She is a manual box 4.2L straight six. The engine has been rebuilt and tuned. Mr. Green

Hubba-hubba! Razz

I sold Wranglers (jeeps, not jeans) for a while back in the mid 90s when Jeep first started to import them. Lots of fun offroad, but "vague" is being kind when it comes to the onroad experience.

Hi AndewS

If this sat is still on can you tell me more about it...where, when, whats involved ???
me and a mate have a pink ticket from the wives and , more importantly, a DŁ with mud tyres and a new 90 that needs to get a bit of mud on her. It`s a fair drive so probably only use the one car though for social reasons...

Cheers

Sib

Basically I'm replacing the bridge and thought OK lets have a get together at the track. Normally you would have to pay but as we are working. The site owner has allowed me to bring a few people along to check the site out. Here is a link to some pictures of previous events we have held.

The site is a 4x4 driver training facility. Not a crash and bang go where you want type place. Its all about learning to drive the vehicles off road Land Rover style. Minimal damage to the environment Thumbs Up

The sign-up is here http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic17649.html I will PM you the meeting place info as we don't want the whole world to know where we are going Wink
