Tracking Question?
Hi Peeps

I think i know the answer but thought i would check, but my 90 has now done 1500 miles and ithing the tracking is slightly out so i was going to see if the dealer would sort this out for me free under warrenty or is it just me as i have been used to low profile tyres on my BMW and now im running chuncky tyres so would this be the effect of the tyres and road conditions etc? and as its going back to have a check on the rear near side brake has got a little squeak so to speak, was going to ask them to check and sort it at no cost?

What makes you think the tracking’s out? Tyre wear? Pulling to one side?

If it ain’t actually broke, don’t fix it - if you’re scuffing the tyres and wasting rubber, that’s different, otherwise if you take a Defender back to the dealer for every squeak and rattle “to have a check” you’ll never be out of the place. Make a list of the things you’re worried about, get them all attended to at the regular servicing, and then argue about those that you feel should have been corrected under warranty.

Defenders don’t hold the road like a BMW or comfort you in silence like a Mercedes, they’re more like… well, Defenders.
