It does however require 4 holes to be drilled in the RH of the windscreen frame for the brackets.

Just wondering if there is a way to fit without having to do this? Drilling the windscreen support seems a bit wrong to me.

I had a couple of Mantec snorkels fitted to Discos and whilst they were rigid, the only upper support they had was a small bolt through the rain gutter. Is this not possible on a Defender?

Alternatively, what about a right angle bracket "sikaflexed" to the windscreen support.

I noted from Brendan's Oz blog that the traditional method of fixing to the windscreen was a point of failure.

Try not to drill the frame - I just took my RAI off and one of the stainless bolts (or the rusting bracket) had started corroding the alloy. I should have used Duralac the first time but it's still a concern... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
