1992 Defender 90 200 Tdi HT Zermatt Silver

Could be worse, i noticed a slight drip under the 90 the other month which got worse the other day so i started investigating. The transfer box rubber mount (R/H) had sheared allowing extra stresses to enter the box, which in turn has left a nice crack in the tx box (where the oil is coming from!) I'll post pics when i get it out.

I checked my friends 110 (14,000km) and the same rubber mount is under tension on his. Might be worth checking out for anyone who has a Tdci. The 90 has been regularly serviced every 10,000km and is regularly checked by me as well, last time i checked the mounts were all good.

Luckily Ashcroft are coming to the rescue with a recon tx box to be built on Thursday and hopefully shipped soon after.
