FS: 110 300Tdi Hard Top : Low Miles - Now with better photos

As I've just posted this elsewhere:

It is with a heavy heart I am selling my 110

I had big dreams for this Landy and I spent ages looking for it and selecting the best vehicle for an Overland adventure that never happened. (Very tempted to moth ball it as I'm sure it will just go up in value, but SWMBO would kill me)

So:

It's a 1998 300Tdi 110 Hard Top
1998
2 Owners
89000 miles (all MOTs and history to back this up)
Full service history
Solid chassis (just had a bit of repair done on crossmember and have before and after photos)
MOT until Jan 29th 2014
Just spent £500 at local indy (Sayers MR) in July on Service, P gasket, Water pump (GEN LR)

It's got side windows, tints, steering guard, raised air intake and Mud bulkhead removal bar.

Interior is clean, exterior is 100% Land Rover and scabby but only cosmetic, doors and bulkhead are solid!

Now I've been trying to find a 110 CSW and I've been again looking for months. I've driven loads and not once have a driven a 300TDi that drives as well as mine does. I went to the Overland show last weekend on Sat and the London to Brighton on Sun. (ended chatting to the chap with the Swiss Fire & Ice 110). I can't stress it it enough, it goes and stops straight, steering is sharp, starts on the button.

Will sit at 60 with ease and have plenty of go to pull past trucks (70-80)

Underneath it is totally standard and unmolested. It doesn't even drip and fluids at all!!

I really want to sell it to somebody who'll use and love it.

£5500 for a super duper quick sale ~ Offer me £4950 tonight and I'd take it!!!

Nope, it hasn't.

When I toyed with keeping it I talked to Foleys who have Puma 3rd Row seats and the parts who'll fit them in the rear of a van for about £1500

Forgot to mention I've got the middle seat for it sat in the garage so the cubby could come out again to make it a 3 seater and you could easily put fold up or bench seats in but I needed to look at baby seat compatible seats which rules out side facing and bench seats

Sold: I suspect that was a decent price, happy that it's going to good home to be an overland base vehicle as I had always intended.

I see you did not make reserve - if you are to re-list it may I respectfully suggest new photos - the ones you put up did you no favours.

Yeah I get that totally, need;

better photos (need to include all the good bits; doors, bulkhead, chassis and all the bad bits; dints, scabby electrolytic bits)

better description

Think I'm going to test it also, there is no reason for it to fail an MOT seen as it's only done about 700 miles since it was done 6 months ago but 12 months MOT is better

Have you tried an ad on Pistonheads before resorting to ebay?
