I have the engine :) it's a 3.2 :)
Last Wednesday I made trip and picked up a delivery mileage 3.2 tdci complete Whistle
Now after going out in pete the job will start but removing my engine and box Thumbs Up

Plus did everyone have a good weekend at billing my truck was parked on Pete's stand most of the time other than when we were on the twist of ramp

Soo let's let the build hopefully commence

Steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs
3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P
hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit
ashcroft atb in transfer box
6 speed auto in build

use the photo stream then any pics taken on iPhone 4/ iPad will be uploaded direct to iPhoto on the mac automatically via iCloud and then u can easily upload to defender2 then 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

ASAP the first job will be to remove the 3.2 gearbox and get it to Ashcroft
So that should start the ball rolling also got to check the new intercooler will fit with a winch in place so then can order that from andy at allisport

Well this evening I started doing some bits the rad and intercooler are off the gearbox is off the 3.2 ready for a trip to ashcrofts and I have built up the front of the engine so it is the same as the 2.4 Thumbs Up
So a slow start but I will get there I hav pics but there on my I phone and I don't have accsess to a computer

Sounds great. What needs doing to the gearbox at Ashcrofts? is it to make the transferbox fit on?

I'm afraid I can't release any info on the engine as yet but I will be able to in the next couple of weeks
And yes the gearbox need the defender back end putting on it

Well the 2.4 is out and the gearbox is at ashcrofts as we speak
The intercooler is ready so hope fully next week I will pick the box up and re fit
Although whilst it's all out I'm going to give it a clean and give the chassis a touch of tlc

Well I picked up the intercooler ay from pete who kindly got it from allisport at eastnor show
Thanks for pulling all the stops out to get it done now just need David at ashcrofts to get the gearbox ready Very Happy
