painting canopy
I`m about to order an Ifor Williams aluminium canopy for my 130. I`m very keen to get it painted to match tonga green and was wondering what the technique is to do this. Is it a bodyshop job ? If so how much should it cost roughly and does anyone know of somewhere reliable to get it done in Bath / Bristol / Swindon area ?

as for enfrance the Iveco man, why not button it as we`ve all bought defenders already ! They are the only 4x4 I`ve not snapped in half.. Sib

Sib,I would call a local bodyshop, not sure about painting ally if it needs a special primer. 2.4 90 XS

Aly does need an etch primer - you will probably find a body shop your best bet Mike

I can recommend Autocolour in Wootton bassett (about 5 minutes away from J16 M4), they do all of T.H. Whites warranty body repair work (and are insurance accident repair agents), and both Dave & Paul (father & son respectively) are both "into" LR's so have a good knowledge and feel for solihull products.

I've had plenty of parts painted there.
