The machined stainless steel seat rail extensions are not only an optical eye-catcher, but provide a much more comfortable sitting position by the wedge-shaped design. The original seat is in front by 14 mm and the rear by 45 mm, this leads to an ergonomic sitting position.
For großgewachsene can be fit through the seat rail extension for a further 5 cm to the back.

You will find the new article in the shop> Specials Defender> Seat rail extension 110 Tdci Double Cab

some info from Germany
Hi,

this German based Ex-Tec company was founded by Horst and his wife. He he a graduate engineer in mechanical engineering and after spending so many years traveling to Africa he has decided to found his own company in 1994 to optimize Land Rovers for sport and expedition purpose.

All the parts they are producing are tested during some longer trips in Africa beforehand. They just returned from a East-Africa tour in spring.

More images of their tours can be found here:

http://extec-gmbh.de/website/pages/start/ex-tec-expeditionen.php

If anybody is interrested in I can support with my German mother language.

You can also use Google translation: http://translate.google.de/translate?prev=...amp;swap=1

Beside Ex-Tec there are some other very interresting companies in Germany/Switzerland/Austria like:
