As the title says, for those that have a genuine roof rack, like the one on the forum picture above.

You need to fit the roof tents with the hard top that lifts up
And not the ones that fold out unfortunately as the front bar stops it from folding out. There was an article on this in landrover international magazine a while ago on a g4 challenge 110. They've got them at www.autohome-uk.com And are called Airtop Hope this helps Steve |

I've got a howling moon to put on to this type of rack has anyone done this as there's 5" to make up

You could mount some regular roof bars so that they sit on top of the side rails of the LR rack, secured with U bolts. It would make it a long way up though, both for the ladder and centre of gravity.
I had a similar problem when trying to mount my Ozpod and, in the end, I sold the rack and bought roof bars instead.
