Which towing mirrors do you use?
Which towing mirrors do you use (if any)?

Not wanting to create a debate on whether to use towing mirrors or not. Lately Ive decided to use them (previously towed with mirror arms pushed out) and I use Lorrymans idea of adapting the Milenco Grand Aero mirrors to fit onto my wing mirrors, but lately the wind resistance has caused the drivers wing mirror head to fold in as I drive Shocked , despite tightening the mirror ball socket bolts up!

Interested in hearing what mirrors folk use:D

Milenco Aero again, clipped to the underside of the LR arm, but with a cable tie through the aero fixing (convenient holes) and LR mirror arms in case the fixing fails for some reason. Ian One wife - livid

Wolf arms and mirrors. Great, just swing them out when I need them. Bigger glass area too.

Clamped to the arm instead of the glass. It means folding the arms out and moving the Defender mirrors but is very stable and no cracked glass Thumbs Up

I'll try fitting them to the mirror arms, perhaps with a tie clip as well as per IanW's suggestion Thumbs Up

Just ordered some of these genuine Britax arms and mirrors after having a genuine 'wolf' arm fail. I've tried some eBay after-market wolf-like arms and mirrors and the quality was shocking and not fit for purpose. Once the new genuine Britax ones turn up I taking these eBay 'specials' back to the seller personally Evil or Very Mad Dave

Pyramid Rock Steady
I use Pyramid Rock Steady mirrors, but take care not to tighten them up too tight on the glass!!
They are very stable, but helps if the straps are 'crossed' at the back. Thumbs Up

Following the suggestions on here, Ive now mounted my Grand Aero towing mirrors onto the underside of my mirror arms, and secured with a tie clip incase they work loose. Now the law states this is the view you should achieve...




Yet the best view I can achieve is this...

Clearly I cant see the actual sides of my caravan, so I guess I need to get some extended mirror arms now!

This may be daft but I take it your mirrors are pushed back to 90 degrees?
And would you be able to see down the sides if the mirrors were attached to the glass (another couple of inches?)
