puma starter motor problem
hi

i have a problem with a puma 2010 model

i had the startor motor changed and ignition switch changed due to the startor motor engaging it self, this seemed to solve the problem

however the problem has come back the starter motor is engaging it self again, this was only changed 3000miles ago

i have had it on SDD and there are no faults stored

has anyone got and ideas what is causing this

Sounds to be an electrical command problem rather than the Starter Motor itself.

Check the engine wiring loom that runs across the rear of the engine, make sure it's not damaged through contact with the red engine lifting bracket (if fitted), this is a common problem and would give you this kind of fault. Richard

Either a 90, 110 or 130.
