My handbook suggests that the Emergency Key Access (EKA) procedure only works with the remote control fob “well away from the starter switch”.

Haven’t thought it through, but comments?

I would like one, if you send it to Germany. Is there a chance to put this Key into an original Land Rover Key. The Key from the Discovery has also only two Buttons.

I had mine cut no problem at the local key cutters, a few pounds IIRC

(he also said he could get the same type of remote keys for 'not much money' but I never followed that up.
