Hello again! Well, slight delay at dealer meant I wasn't able to pick it up on Thurs afternoon, but I got it this morning and LOVE IT!!! Looked superb in the dealers "handover area" - all shiny and just what I wanted. It's a 90 XS in Stornoway Grey, and I had black chequer plate fitted to front wings, raised air intake and worklight over the back door. They've filled it to the brim with diesel and chucked in some LR cuddly toys and baseball caps for the kids - nice touch and much appreciated!

Chugged in to work, and twice came a cropper because of the bus like turning circle - will take a bit of getting used to! Still, it gave me a chance to work out where reverse gear is! Mr. Green

Will get some photos posted this weekend. Looking forward to closing the office - think I may close a bit early today! Thumbs Up

Congrat's and enjoy.

As for the turning circle... try winding the bump stops in about one and half rotations. My 110 didn't have a turning circle as much as a circumnavigation 110 2.4TDCi

Well SMJ finally you have it!!!

Turn the corner is not one of the advantages of the Defenders precisely.

Other thing that to be aware: This is not a Ferrari, so be prepared to be overtaked by almost all cars (bicycles included) when the ligths goes green...

But all of them will look you with envy Mr. Green

By the way, my fender are in the way to the south (700 km from here) with my wife in a study trip to the forest there. I miss both Big Cry

Cheers and have a nice weekend playing with it. Eduardo
