Where did you get 3125 from Arran Shocked it was replaced with ML about 6 months ago. No problem it is good stuff, just give it a really good shake as it maybe older stock, test to see how well it comes out of the extension nozzle. ML is now being replaced with LT which is thicker. LT is somewhere between runnier ML & thicker 3125.

Any rust bubbles on metal body work, simply scrape the rust off, acid convert with something like Ku-rust, Jenolite etc, paint on body colour paint and clear laquer on top. The usual suppliers including LR can sell you the latter two paints in a touch up pack.

It was good to see the Dinitrol guys, Pete & John at the NEC Car Restoration Show, I recently bought myself a new project to convert into a rally replica for some amateur rallying Very Happy Probably just of the road rallying kind for starters.

Luckily I already had this SAAB Sport & Rally stuff and a few spares in stock. It,s the correct year and colour and pretty solid underneath so she was pulled off Ebay and plonked on my trailer Very Happy

This one is owned by a friend of mine to see what she will look like hopefully by the end of this year. I am doing the spraying myself so she won,t be so mint but that is ok she will only get scratched anyway.

Thanks chaps Thumbs Up

This one is just about to go out. Remarkable condition for a 2006 TD5 Shocked The chassis is the right condition for it,s age but the body has no corrosion what so ever, around the cappings, windscreen, rivets etc and all original. Somebody has looked after it from new, front window sealed properly a while ago etc...

More remarkable because it is properly off roaded for shooting and fun. The staff team that looks after his collection of cars must spend an age looking after them. I would like to do his limousines as well but it would hang off my 4 post lift, I wonder if they do an 8 post lift for limo,s Shocked Cool

I was going to have a go on my Defender tomorrow. It's quite clean underneath having covered just 1400 miles and never in mud etc. Rather than wash the underside and then have to wait a few days for it to dry out, I was going to wipe it over with a cloth and WD40 (or similar), before applying the Dinitrol. I'm assuming that should be ok?

Thanks Thumbs Up 110 DCPU

No, dont use wd40.
The Dinitrol need clean ,dry and grease free surface to adhere to.
Just give it a brush down and maybe a wipe with a clean rag.

Good point....I'll probably have to give it a wash down with some detergent then as I sprayed the chassis copiously with WD40 when I fitted new sills last weekend.....d'oh!
