Morning all!

Recently my power steering has been squealing like a stuck pig which means the belt is slipping on the pulley. Its not loose or degraded.

Its far more likely to do it when reversing ...

Sorry Should Have Said, Same 1991 200tdi Salisbury drum braked axle.

Just to update on this, no loss of coolant and no obvious routes of water ingress.

Will drain, refill then keep an eye on it.

Not the best time for this to happen as my other truck ...

Exactly, which makes me think injectors or lift pump as there is nowhere else it could come from!
