I check mine are clear when I check my levels. Remove the fill/level plug check for oil, and then blow through pipe into box, which you can now hear via the open plug hole. |

If you get a good quality fridge, I don’t see your power consumption to be excessively high.
I used to run twin batteries, Odysseys, run a fridge constantly and charge all the camping kit. No so ... |

I think the only issue will be a new HB cable. But I’d be buying a LR one. Some a really poor quality. Also lube before you fit it |

What can happen is that the engine gearbox earth cable fails/isn’t refitted so the engine earths through the handbrake cable. Shorting it and doing what you described.

Any size spare is ok, as it isn’t part of the test. Such as a space saver, but obviously you want one that will work for you.

If you find one and carry it with the vehicle, it must be legal tread (AIUI) for road use ...... and MOT time.
I don’t think this is the case. There is no check on spare tyre in the MOT in the UK ... |

It doesn’t help you, but I doubt engine would start, and run so well if incorrectly timed. I think your problem must be something else.
