New bulkhead sitting awaiting fitting, been flat out with the chippy over the last six weeks so progress has halted.
Driving over to Iceland in a couple of weeks so hope to get a full two weeks work into the series when I get back in October.

Also fitted the winch that I bought from a forum member to my 90 in preparation for the Iceland trip.

Well back to it after finishing the season in the chippy and taking the tdci to Iceland.

So we managed to squeeze the Series three into the workshop and get the new bulkhead loosely fitted on.

Bit of a frustrating day today, trying to get the wiring loom through the chassis, struggled to get a rod through and when we did the bloody cable wouldn’t go through, anyway tomorrow is another da, so after I yank it back out we will try again.

Screwed in the lower dash and some other bits and bobs, and bought home some of the dash plastics for a scrub in the bath.

This is my very good mate Mick Moore,

Got the head back today with the new hardened valves for lead free running. All very new to me but with help and assistance from the chaps at the yard, it’s coming together. Really enjoyed hands on with the feeler gauges setting up the tappets, as they say, every days a school day.
