I've always used a towbar rack on my Discovery 2 TD5. Just about to pickup a 110 and noticed that the spare wheel fouls the rack being mounted. Stumbled across this which seems to solve the problem - http://thundermandesign.com/product/4x4-bike-rack-boom/ - Already bought and it is a very sturdy/heavy piece of kit!

Have a look at a Fabbri Gringo, it secures (and locks) to the spare wheel then opens with the door. I got one 2nd hand and very pleased with it, it is well made and supports the bikes individually so they don't hit/damage each other. Given the weight of bikes and a spare wheel hanging from the back door a spare wheel carrier would be advisable. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop
