Swing away wheel carrier
I'm looking for one and on the bay there are an abundance of ex military ones to fit side swinging tailgate versions.

In the description is does say they will fit a standard door with a small mod.

Has anyone fitted one of these and what was the mod?

Is that the type where you swing the wheel away first before opening the door?
What size wheel are you using, i think some of them are rated for different sizes.

Yes and no.

It is the one made for swing away drop tailgates, however this one has an adapter plate to fix to the door so it'll open with the door.

It's made for steel wheels which i will be carrying on the trip
