2004 Defender 110 Td5 DCPU Epsom Green
New Coolant Gaue TD5 Defender
Im after a new coolant gauge for my 110, specifically a Stack one to match my boost gauge. Though how do I tap it in? Id rather avoid cutting the top hose if possible.

Anyone changed their coolant gauge on a TD5 before? Instagram @defender_ventures

I gave in and cut the pipework to fit the gauge sensor. I believe there is a modified coolant to head flange that has a position for the standard sensor and a second auxiliary one allowing the ECU and a separate gauge to work.

I will see if I can find it again.

Incidentally not had a problem with the inter-hose sensor since fitting.

Here you go - https://goreproducts.com/products/td5-coolant-housing

The only reason I didn’t go this route is that I couldn’t get the part in time so went standard outlet elbow and hose insert.
