Thanks guys its cost me a fortune on the paint part, 4000 for both shops and counting lol Big Cry

but looks a million dollars now, the engine bay and seatbox, footwells are all getting rubbed down, primed and then bedlinered to match the inside of rear tub for a hard wearing finish seeing as its going to be a soft top!

Galv rock sliders are going gloss black as are wheels.

There is a Air con grille surround and a standard grille surround so im undecided which to use? I have a nice black mesh grille to go on it, the headlight surrounds will be gloss black I expect.

Just bought a pair of LED headlights for £50 exactly like the ones on my 110 which have been on 2 defenders and done over 100,000 miles without any issues. Also LED NAS lights all round.

Im thinking Allisport header and coolant tanks and also silicone pipes for the TDI engine bay.

That is a really really really nice colour Bow down

Just my penny's worth, i would stick the standard grill on and if you go down the Alisport route, get the header tank with the level gauge on, cant fault it ..................

If you're going to go for a mesh grill, I'd fit the A/C surround as that will provide a natural break between the grill and the headlight surrounds. With a standard surround, you'll just have slightly incongruous gaps between grill and surrounds on each side.

Mr. Green

progress is moving swiftly! interior has been bed linered.

paint work has been polished,

just the alloys, doors, front grille surround and bit and bobs left to do.

Looking a bit of a monster next to a standard 90!! Shocked Shocked and thats. without a roof or screen! Mr. Green Thumbs Up

Another big step forwards!

Wheels have been refurbed and both wing skins are on now.

Seatbox and footwells have been rubbed down and bed linered as well as new floor pans.
Mr. Green Thumbs Up
