You can, however, get a much better turning circle with them fitted. My old 110 with 265 tyres and 30mm spacers was more manoeuvrable than the D2 that my wife owned at the time. Darren

There’s no longer much difference between Britpart, Bearmach and all makes, the first two especially. Eurospares are out there now too, mostly parts from turkey off the same place as Land Rover- they also do
Cheap tat too. All makes PR2 Range is good, but Britpart and bearmach are giving long no quibble warranty on their parts as well. It’s the labour claim you’ll fight for.

People love cheap throw away parts and that’s it, there will always be a market. I’ve heard all the reasons why over the years Laughing most common one “just throw the cheapest on it I’m getting rid off it” you’ll see the same guy driving the same car four years later everytime Rolling with laughter

Its all very well saying adjust your stops so they dont catch but for us drivers of older Landys, especially the 110, its already like trying to turn a tanker with a very poor steering lock. I have had spacers fitted to various landys for over 30 yr and have never had a single issue. While not suggesting they never cause a problem there is a lot of old wives tales out there that get repeated and repeated. Any wrongly fitted or maintained part can cause a problem.

Spacers are great... it's the thought of Britpart spacers which gives me nightmares.

why would you use blue box bits on a critical area of a landy????

i would buy better offset wheels instead

And how much is a new set of wheels and swapping tyres compared to spacers?

Surely that's only a solution if the wheels you want to use are available in different offsets? Darren
