It will certainly make a great project for someone, and as others have said I’m very tempted but I would question your comment that there is “a great profit to be made”
To finish assembling, wiring and painting involves many hours of labour and materials. People often underestimate the time and costs involved, hence all the unfinished projects on eBay.
Good luck with the sale it’s a great project, but great profit, I’m not so sure.

Thanks for your comments, I’m fully aware of the work required as I am in the process with my series 3. My comment was actually “It needs painting and putting back together, so if you've got the time and skill there is a great profit to be made“ so I’m not trying to lead anyone into believe in they can finish it in a weekend. Either way, it is an honest series 2a with a new chassis, restored bulkhead and rebuilt engine. The cost of these elements alone is not far off my asking price. Due to the nature of these vehicles, painting can be done a few panels at a time and a mate and I did the wiring on my series 3 with a new loom from autosparks (circa £230) in a morning.
