United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Aintree Green

I know what you mean about abbreviations!
The Jeep is apparently a JL-UL Sahara, and not a JL-UL-R. Confused

In the absense of the new Defender I keep looking at the Wrangler and thinking, I could accommodate 1

I ran a 2015 MY Wrangler 2.8 CRD as my daily driver for a couple of years & I absolutely loved it; Jeep have really looked after their heritage & nurtured the Wrangler to meet modern demands whilst still keeping the DNA of the iconic vehicle...shame JLR haven't took a similar stance with the Defender.

Otherwise, nice boots! Since 1973...S1, Air Portables, Defenders & finally 2016 90 XS HT & 90 Wolf

I consider the km3 for my jeep. I had the km2 on the defender in 255/85/15 for two years and was fine with everything but snow. To ne honest, I read everything I could find about the new km3s and it all sounds like bfg paid advertisment. Today I found this article

http://www.northridgenation.com/taking-a-l...km3-tires/

In summary:
1. bfg claims 5% better mud traction, but the thead blocks of km3 are closer. hm...
2. 27% tougher sidewall, but the tire is 10lbs heavier. hm...

Should I go for km2? They are cheaper now and probably the same tire. Any thoughts or real experience with km3? Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR
Jeep Wrangler YJ 1990 lots of offroad mods
