I can think of a couple of ways they could do it, but it's probably best not posted on an open forum. All that really matters is then can be fitted to a vehicle with minimal fuss.

been trying to get a response from optimil as my hinges are a bit worn out but no response...

ill try gore like the security aspect too

Sorry, are you saying that you have Optimill hinges already and they're worn, or are you saying that your original OE hinges are worn and you were looking at Optimill as a possible replacement?

I thought Optimill were reckoned to last forever.

I thought as much but seeing as it was asked a second time, it probably needed pointing out.

ive got the gore windscreen brackets and bonnet hinges, lovely products. Going to order the 110 door hinges, are they a sod to fit? and does it take ages to align the doors back up again?

I have never fitted those hinges, however, if you take off and replace a door hinge one at a time you will have no problem with alignment. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

^^^ as just don one at a time, will take more time taking off the door card than it will doing the actual hinges in my experience. Cheers

Not when you've stuck ball bearings in the bolt heads, then it takes bloomin' ages! Rolling with laughter
