True - i could change mine as well for better pay - however as you said he knew what he was getting in to. He also has never complained about the poor pay or hours as with most - which i am glad of due to them saving lives.

I just think they could all do with a little more respect for what they do as well as the forces, fire etc. etc.

The guy who gave the ticket probably earns nearly the same - and for what - handing bits of paper out......... Defender 110 TDCi XS SW

The normal hard working tax paying individual is ultimately paying. If people had more morals and didnt expect something for nothing there would be more money in the pot for pay rises.

What's worse in that story? that some idiot didn't read the sign about not trying to walk over the hole, or all the other gullable idiots that consider an 8' hole in the ground to be "art"?

You do get people like that jim, People will still go near etc, even when there is warning etc in place.

the gullable idiots really should see the roads the, there is some right old art out there

One of us should take a picture of an OIL stain on the ground from the defender, it blown up large, and take it to an art museum! Worth a small fortune

Here is a story for you, when I worked for asda, two lads that worked on the Music and video desk. One lad spotted two red buttons, next to the till. he pressed them, with in a space of 10 mins the armed police were there with guns! 30mins later the lad knocked the two buttons when he was sweeping the floor.
