I fitted a Mudstuff rear card to the HD galved door on my 110TD5, a very nice item, gives it a factory look.

Just drove it, had to go an get some hay bales in the trailer. Not usually at this time of year. Rolling Eyes

Liking the new wax I've used on my 90, to the eye it appears a darker shade than the #26 Yellow I have been using for a while.

Been thinking about getting parts Galvanized, but more a winter thing as too busy.
What do most of you expect to pay for blasting and Galvanizing? Obviously depends on how many parts but any guides? Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

Put the Mantec roof bars back on ready for transporting the missus to vend at a yarn show.

Considering they are under 12 months old and spend nearly all the time in the shed the finish is starting to look flakey in places. Rolling Eyes 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone

Blasting is cheap, I’ve just had an 80” bulkhead and a few other small parts done for £50,
Galvanising will be expensive if you have only a small quantity of parts, and some places won’t do one off/small items.

Our local (Wessex galvanisers) were good, £130 for a Series chassis, and £120 for all the cappings, screen frame etc,
Now they charge £10 per item on small parts, as they got fed up with people wanting an absolutely flawless Finnish,

If you can? Your best bet is to find someone who also needs some done, and double up on the quantity. Thumbs Up 80" 80" 86" 88" 90"

I made up a window vent, it was a rush job as i need it for tomorrow. It slips into the window channel, then the window slides into one end of the vent and the window catch keeps it closed.
It's a bit bigger than i need, so I'll knock up a nicer set for the 110 next week.

Still having some difficulties but I'm hoping things will fall into place soon.

As for the doors I'm not sure the Link worked Ian but I think I know the stuff you mean. Just need some time to do it!

Went to D44 for a Service, brake fluid change, replacement sump, transferbox mounts, rear diff pinion oil seal.
Ended up needing new front brake pads, I thought they were okay but were a bit low.
Wish they would have told me before fitting though, cost that bit more than I planned for the brake pads.

There was traces of water in the rear axle oil so got it sorted out just in time!
Rear halfshafts and drive flanges are worn too.

Costs are getting hard to justify! Sad

I can't understand why I get next to no issues with the front but often something with the rear driveline.
Had the rear diff pinion oil seal replaced multiple times and the flange for Genuine as well, and after about 2 years it starts again.

At least most things are sorted now though, just goes to show how you can't always tell issues with your own vehicle until experienced people know what to look for.
