Anyone tried a range/cowboy/prairie tent?
I'm trying to decide on a different camping system from my wee mountain tent. I've been considering everything from a roof tent to a small caravan, and a new option has hit my radar! It's a four-sided cotton pyramid style tent, suspended from two external poles. They seem to be more common in the States, but there is one UK manufacturer (Mohican) http://mohicantents.co.uk/#/range-tents/4554832725

Some American videos indicate that they're easy to pitch, stable, and can accommodate a stove. I'm just not sure about them! Do you think they'd be a bad choice for year-round camping in Scotland?
