DEFENDER TD5 CLUTCH REPLACEMENT
My Defender TD5 2004 clutch needs replacement.Currently the clutch is very hard.
I oredered a valeo clutch kid and i was wondering wether the clutch will become softer now.

Any ideas????

It could be that either your master or slave cylinder is faulty, any signs of fluid loss?

If you have the old style coil springs on the clutch pedal, you can change to the softer type, it made a big difference on my TD5.

when the clutch is worn it can give a heavy pedal, but also worth checking if you have the pedal box mod done as mentioned by Harry.O
