Hi has anyone attempted a seat retrim in leather, easy, hard. Any feedback welcome. 1990 200tdi conversion 90

OEM Developments sell whole seat packages as Factory fit LR Defender seats for great prices.
As cheap as a leather kit and original parts.
Worth a look. Thumbs Up

I did it on an old Frontera once. I've also replaced the drivers seat covers/foams on my Defender.

It's not especially hard, although fiddly in places. Defender ones are quite a bit easier than modern car seats. You'll probably find you need new foams as they fall apart with age when you take the old covers off, and the heaters are glued to the foam.

I found the metal hog rings they use are more hassle than they're worth, you're better off just using some small cable ties. They're much easier to fit and remove in future and you don't need the special pliers for them.
