255/85/R16 Alternative
Just seen these:
https://www.maxxis.co.uk/catalog/tyre-5-25-creepy-crawler
They appear to be available in 255/85/R16 but load rating 'L' which is 75mph, which I think is a bit lower than KM2's.
They look good, and are a reliable high performance brand.

I have 255/85/R16 BFG KM2 at the moment and am delighted with them!
It is however, very disappointing that the KM3 does not have 255/85/R16 available. Sad

Anyone have any thoughts? Ideas welcome.

My KM2's are nearly new and haven't done hardly 5k yet so I'll be keeping them to the end of their life but it's useful to discuss alternatives and sizing.
As I mentioned, such a pity the KM3's don't have 255/85/R16.

Edit****
Perhaps I read the wrong speed rating somewhere above, it's listed here lower down the page:

The creepy crawler is a cross-ply, so not very tarmac friendly and possible insurance implications too depending on the age of your vehicle.

I wonder if BFG will release a 255 KM3 next year? 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Well I think a lot if people were hoping the KM3 would be in 255/85/R16, myself included for future use. Diesels Lives Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️

It seems the general consensus is KM3 won't be available in 255x86r16. I learnt the other day website lists 235, 285 and 305 on 16 rims. Maybe they'll add 255 a while after release?? James

They haven't done a KO2 in that size, I suspect there isn't enough demand.
