United Kingdom 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Keswick Green
Seat runners 2009
Hi All

I purchased a couple of Exmoor Trim modular seats at the weekend , a bit of an unexpected buy but it seemed a good deal and saved the 6 week wait . Really friendly bunch. They also had “landy” on the stand with the author Veronica signing books , the kids were thrilled.
Anyhow I went to fit them this evening , four bolts out of the old ones four bolts into the new ones and thought job done but sadly not !

The bases slide back a few inches then thump, they hit a lip at the back of the seat box. Obviously I could shove a load of packers underneath to give the clearance but that makes the seating position too high for me as I’m 6’2” . These are supposed to be Puma seat frames, but are there differences from 2007-2015 ? They do look a little different . Mine is a 2009 DCPU

I’ll call them in the morning but just thought somone may know

Thanks

It's designed by land rover to hit the lip Whistle

If you want to clear the lip you'll need some sort of seat riser.

I've got seat risers, am 6 foot and can wear a hat in the car.

Just one problem Rolling with laughter I don't want to be in the front of the row at street lights. Your vision is severely impaired.

And problem solved, i've got a front facing camera Thumbs Up a defender from 1984 pretending to be a puma with a touch of Range Rover
